The Fine Art of
Capturing Buffalo

Writing and photography by
Mark Donnelly, Ph.D.

The Fine Art of Capturing Buffalo is an inspiring new look at the City of Buffalo, shot by award-winning photographer, Mark Donnelly, Ph.D. It's a five-year body of his work, displaying his passion for the city, and the countless treasures that surround us.

More than 200 beautiful color photos showcase the breadth and diversity of our city's embarrassment of riches from the vast expanse of parks and gardens, architectural treasures, and our arts and cultural scene, to our proud past and positively brilliant future. It's a visual celebration of our waterfront, colleges, fairs and festivals, and the amazing spirit of our neighborhoods.

Dr. Donnelly is an artist, an educator, a passionate community and environmental activist, a proud husband and father, and a man seldom separated from his camera. As an award-winning photographer, his work has appeared in dozens of exhibitions and galleries, including the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, the Burchfield-Penney Art Center, Rodman Hall Arts Centre, and the Art Gallery of Hamilton.

The Fine Art of Capturing Buffalo is the perfect gift for family, friends, clients, co-workers, and potential employees... That is of course, after you've bought a copy for yourself.
